TRAI has released the supplementary consultation paper about the issues regarding to new licences of DTH. Customers were requested to post their comments and views on this consultation paper. This supplementary consultation paper was released in which, amongst various others, the issue about ‘control’, migration fee, interoperability of DTH and its set-top-boxes and licence fee were discussed.
As part and process of the supplementary consultation, the paper was updated on TRAI website where stakeholders can update their comments and suggestions. All the comments which are received will get posted on TRAI website.
So, after the consent of the stakeholders this step of issuing new license of DTH would be further taken.
