By 2012 the number of customers in India, DTH TV market is estimated to be 3.61 million, which will pass the U.S. DTH market.
According to research firm Media Partners Asia report, India’s DTH subscriber base in 2009 from 1.7 million to 4.5 million by 2014 and by 2020 will reach 5.8 million.
The report states that by 2012 India ahead of the United States is going to become the world’s largest DTH market. According to the report, DTH industry’s revenue increased 12.1 billion dollars by 2014 and by 2020 is estimated to be 18.5 billion dollars. DTH companies, the real earnings of 2013 will begin.
